Six people escaped with minor injuries following a four-vehicle collision involving a truck on the N1, 14th Avenue off-ramp in Constantia on 22 May.
According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, when emergency personnel arrived at the scene, a large truck was found overturned while several other vehicles were found spread across the road.
Meiring said, “Traffic services began diverting traffic while paramedics assessed the scene. Assessments showed that the injuries sustained ranged from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
“Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.”
