Oupa makes 99 look easy

Senior citizen keeps fit

Piet Joubert may be 99-years old but this has not stopped him from living a full and active life. He has been training his body at the Roodepoort Biokinetics Centre every week. The centre decided to surprise him with a small party on his birthday recently.

Piet trains to remain fit and active. “I only take it one step at a time because at my age that’s how you do it. There is no rush.

I do hope to reach 100 next year but I am grateful to have lived this long to be with my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren,” he said.
