The official Mrs Grand South Africa pageant is just a few weeks away. This prestigious competition will be held at the Roodepoort Theatre and is all for a good cause. The pageant, which is in its second year, empowers women across South Africa by inspiring and motivating them to create change in their communities.
This year, the pageant is supporting the Reinhardt Drewel Foundation, the country’s first non-profit organisation to target national drowning prevention awareness by offering dynamic, innovative National Drowning Prevention Awareness & Education Programmes to community-based, supervised child-care, pre-school and primary schools. These campaigns aim to prevent all future accidental drowning fatalities and non-fatal drowning disabilities in the country and across the continent.
Stageline Professional is the official make-up sponsor for the pageant, while Zee World fills the role of media sponsor.
The winner will represent South Africa at the Mrs Universal and Mrs Universe Elegance pageants in 2018. The grand finale will take place at the Roodepoort Theatre on 15 June 2017.
