Shooting leaves man critically wounded

Shooting the subject of an investigation.

At 6.26am on Friday, 28 April, Netcare 911 paramedics raced to a shooting incident in Ontdekkers Park.

Exact details of the incident and preceding events are still speculative and will form part of the police investigation.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a Swazi immigrant lying on the ground in the yard of a private house with multiple gunshot wounds. The Advanced Life Support paramedic and her team worked fervently to stabilise the man at the scene before they transported him to a provincial hospital for the care that he required.
