The Roodepoort Theatre will be jam-packed later this month when the Tshepang Children’s Programme hosts Miss African Beauty Roodepoort.
According to the organisers, this is Roodepoort’s first conceptualised beauty pageant focusing on the development and moulding of role models.
“Our programme supports girls and boys in roles of leadership, so we would love to invite sponsors who are keen to assist us in continuing to uplift the community, who are like-minded and share our vision, with resources to grow a culture of brave women in a future we want to be living in,” said Mathapelo Dipale from the programme.
The event is a beauty project to fund raise for the programme and the search for a young girl who fits the criteria.
The competition will also have a talent round to give the contestants a chance to show off what they can do.
The audience will be entertained by top local musicians such as MGT, Kenzo Hypsta and Thapie.
