Clarice needs sponsors to compete in America

Taking part in Talent America!

Clarice Cabral, aged 10, competed in the Talent Africa competition on 7 April in the instrumental category, playing piano.

She achieved bronze for her first piece and gold for her second piece, resulting in her selection as part of Team South Africa to represent the country in the international round of Talent America in New York.

Clarice is a Grade 5 pupil at Laerskool Roodekrans and a student at Swallows15 Music School, where she is under the guidance of Mari’lize Jacobs.

Team South Africa will be departing for New York on 4 July, but because of Clarice’s age, her mother, Chantel, has to travel with her, doubling their costs.

The family would like to appeal to the public to please assist them with sponsorships.

Anyone who would like to contribute towards towards sending Clarice to America can contact Chantel on 074 222 5102.
