Cold Easter weekend ahead

Temperatures will gradually decline as of Thursday.

Easter weekend celebrations might be marred by cold, wet weather.

According to meteorologist Kobus Botha’s website temperatures will start dropping on Thursday with a maximum of 22°. Thunderstorms are being predicted. Rain and thunderstorms are also predicted for the rest of the weekend. The Easter weekend weather looks as follows:

• Fri: 10°–18°

• Sat: 10°–18°

• Sun: 8°–16°

• Mon: 8°–18°
