Helderkruin charity needs your help

Wings of Inspiration care centre is asking for assistance

Your generosity and kindness can help provide the children at the Wings of Inspiration care centre with food, education and security.

The centre is situated in Helderkruin and is divided into four care groups. One of these care groups is Dorah’s Ark Orphanage in Roodpeoort. The centre does not receive any assistance from the government and is dependent on help – in the form of donations – from companies and individuals.

The centre also has two crisis centres that care for 74 babies and children aged from newborn to 18 years, that are abused, abandoned, impoverished or disadvantaged.

In order to care for the children, the centre has launched an Emergency Sponsorship programme in an attempt to secure funds. They are appealing to the community and businesses to find it in their hearts to assist with any donations – no matter how big or small. According to the centre, R700 will help one child for a month, R1 400 is enough for two months and R2 100 would be enough for one child’s care for three months.

Any donation that will benefit the centre will be most welcome and can include old or unwanted clothing, furniture, household goods, bedding, kitchenware, baby items, toys or food. If you can assist with any of the abovementioned items, or need more information, visit their website www.wingsinspiration.co.za or contact the centre on 071 829 1293.
