Roodepoort Police have urged residents to use 10111 to contact the station for emergencies.
This follows the recent Telkom cable theft in Horison, which has affected parts of the area, including the police station. Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Livhuwani Singo said residents can still go to the police station with administration enquiries.
“Our direct number is currently unavailable as the phone lines are not working. Residents are still encouraged to come to the station with any issues they have and we will work hard to assist them,” she said.
