The first section of road to be affected by the project’s progress will be JG Strijdom Road at the section between Amarant and Cornelius streets.

The plan entails one double lane road to be closed, whereas the other double lane will be temporarily transformed into single lanes of traffic moving both ways.

Jan von der Heyde, a community liaison officer for the project, assured that the traffic management team would be out and fully equipped in their personal safety protection clothing and many people will be involved in directing traffic.
