National Old Stuff Day

Try something new on #NationalOldStuffDay

2 March is National Old Stuff Day, a day to give notice to all that old stuff, break out of the old routine, and try something new.

The saying ‘same old, same old’ is one we have all heard before, but today is the day to do things differently. There is no limit to how you can change your day.

Take a moment to recognise all the things you do daily and decide if there is a better, more efficient way? Is there a better, shorter route to work? Is there a less stressful approach to a task? Although you do not want to change everything, there will be some things you would want to change.

Maybe it is just a way to brighten your – or someone else’s – day. Whatever it is, strive to make the day new and not the same old day it was yesterday.

To celebrate today, approach it with a brand new attitude. Consider alternatives to each and every choice you make daily. Ask yourself if there is a better or equal alternative and stick to it. If possible, try making new and different choices.

Use #NationalOldStuffDay to post on social media.
