Motorists travelling from Johannesburg to Pretoria got a nasty surprise this morning – trucks blocking four major highways.
The affected highways are the N1 North, R21 North, N14 North and the N4 North. It is believed that about a hundred truck drivers are involved in the protest.
It is uncertain what the protest is about but is alleged that Eskom has announced that they can no longer guarantee transport companies contracts for transporting coal.
