Three people and a baby were lucky to escape with their lives after their vehicles collided head-on.
The accident took place at about 6pm last night (26 February) at the intersection of CR Swart and Ontdekkers Roads. The exact cause of the accident is unclear and will be investigated by the Metro Police. A man,woman and baby travelling in a Volvo came off unscathed but the driver of a VW Golf were seriously injured and taken to nearby hospital.
The condition of the man is currently unknown.
