Ouklip Sasol robbed at gunpoint
Suspects did not manage to gain entry to the safe.
The Sasol service station at the corner of CR Swart and Ouklip Roads fell prey to an armed robbery at about 9am yesterday (22 February).
It is alleged that three (four, according to other reports) armed men entered the shop and demanded the cash from the cash register. They then went to the office but failed to gain entry to the safe before the alarm was sounded.
The community is asked to be on the lookout for the white Volkswagen Polo, registration DF 39 LV GP the robbers allegedly used as a getaway vehicle.
The service station management declined to comment.
