More lane closures due to the F46 pipeline in Weltevreden Park

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Pipeline project manager announces a traffic management plan will commence in 20 February.

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Sector B of the F46 Rand Water Pipeline project has announced that the project is moving out of the road reserve on JG Strydom Road, which will require more road management.

Project manager, Johan Pretorius, and community liaison officer, Jan von der Heyde, confirmed a traffic management plan would commence on 20 February. The plan will entail the management of single lane traffic in certain areas, such as from Jim Fouche Road, along JG Strydom Road until the intersection with 9th Avenue (Haak en Steek Street) and from 9th Avenue until the intersection with Rugby Street, to accommodate the construction.

“We will warn residents of road closures in advance,” promised Pretorius.
