26-year-old Angelo van Zyl’s family and friends are appealing to the public for any information as to his whereabouts after he went missing on Saturday night (11 February).
By tracking his phone it could be established that he riding his scooter in the Poortview/ Ruimsig area. He was last seen on WhatsApp at about 11pm before his phone went dead. Eyewitnesses also said they saw him walking. According to a longtime friend, Tyron Lennox, Van Zyl was much respected and loved. He said Van Zyl had no vices and never missed a day of work without a “very good reason”.
