The Roodepoort Police are urging the community to collect their firearm licence cards.
About 274 firearm license cards are currently lying at the Roodepoort Police Station. If they are not collected immediately, they will be returned to Pretoria. Some firearm owners have been phoned, but they have yet to collect their firearm licence cards.
The office where these licences can be collected is situated on the ground floor of the police station, in room 29. The telephone numbers for inquiries are 011 279 6515/ 6. Office hours are from 7.30am until 4pm.
