Last night (2 February) at about 8pm another accident occurred on the notorious Wilgerood Road.The accident happened at the CR Swart Road intersection.
A bakkie was driving on CR Swart Road towards Ontdekkers Road and another vehicle was driving on Wilgerood Road in the direction of Krugersdorp. The two vehicles collided at the intersection, but it is uncertain which of the two drivers had skipped the traffic light. The driver of the bakkie claimed the other driver was at fault. The latter, however, could not give his version of what had happened since he was unconscious.
To the Record’s knowledge this was the third accident on Wilgerood Road this week.
