Biker critical after falling off bike and sliding into car
It is believed the man lost control of the motorcycle.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, sustained critical injuries on Friday (13 January) afternoon when he fell off his motorbike and slid into the rear of a light motor vehicle at the Mouton and Ontdekkers Road intersection in Horison. It is believed the man had lost control of the motorcycle.
ER24 paramedics found the man lying beneath the rear of the light motor vehicle. They carefully extricated him and assessed him, finding that he had sustained serious injuries to his head and chest. He was in a critical condition.
The victim was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support supervision. He was transported to Leratong Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
