Further blasting for the F46 Rand Water Pipeline Project is scheduled for today, 13 January.
The blasting is set to occur between 2pm and 4pm, weather permitting, in the road reserve along JG Strydom Road and between Tamarisk and Harebell streets in Weltevreden Park.
The section of JG Strydom Road will be closed during the allocated time and traffic will be diverted via Tamarisk Street, Kastaiing Street and either Lobelia Avenue or Harebell Street.
“We recommend to keep sensitive pets indoors and regret any inconvenience caused,” said Jan von der Heyde, community liaison officer of the F46 Rand Water Pipeline Project.
