How to identify the real DCF patrollers

"Due to recent misconceptions about our patrollers, we would like to clarify how to identify a Discovery Community Forum Patroller"

Criminals could pose as neighbourhood watch patrollers, which is why it is important to know how to identify genuine patrollers.

Discovery Community Forum (DCF) had an incident of this nature, and as a result, want to explain to the community how to identify their patrollers. “Due to recent misconceptions about our patrollers, we would like to clarify how to identify a Discovery Community Forum Patroller. Our patrollers are equipped with a flashing orange car roof light, two reflective magnetic car door boards, stating ‘D.C.F. Patrol’ (see picture) and one reflective magnetic strip for the boot of the car, which states ‘Patroller’. In addition, our patrollers wear orange and yellow reflective vests,” said DCF member Marion Kelly.

Please note that this information pertains only to the DCF; therefore you should consult your local neighbourhood watch about ways to identify its members.
