A security company’s vehicle ended up on its roof after an accident occurred on Ouklip Road on the night of 10 January.
Two vehicles, a BMW SUV, which was following an Apcan Security vehicle, were travelling on Ouklip Road in the direction of the Wilgerood Road intersection at about 6.15pm, when the BMW hit the Apcan Security vehicle from behind. According to eyewitnesses, the Apcan vehicle allegedly flipped over twice before landing on its roof. It is also alleged that the BMW was travelling at a high speed.
Both drivers were taken to hospital. The driver of the BMW sustained moderate injuries, while the driver of the Apcan Security vehicle sustained spinal injuries.
