This past Thursday (5 January) three suspects were arrested for possession of dagga in three separated incidents.
Roodepoort Police members were on a routine patrol at about 3.45pm when they noted a suspiciously acting man on Van Wyk Street. They confronted him and asked to search him.They subsequently found a zip lock packet with dagga in his possession. He was duly arrested.
Later the same day another two men were arrested for possession of dagga – one on Berlandina Street and another on Van Wyk Street.
The men were detained at Roodepoort Police Station and will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
