New Year baby boy welcomed
WILGEHEUWEL - The bundle of joy entered the world at 6.31pm.
Life Wilgeheuwel welcomed its first and only New Year Day baby yesterday.
Mason Slater is the first child of Ashley and Chiané Slater from Chancliff in Krugersdorp. He came into the world a few days early to no less proud and excited parents.
Mason was born at 6.31pm and the hospital said Mason weighed 3,73 kg and was 51cm long.
The Gaugteng Department of Health at its various public facilities welcomed 120 New Year Babies. 62 were girls and 58 boys, the department said.
