National Chocolate-covered Anything Day

Live out your love for chocolate on #NationalChocolateCoveredAnythingDay

If you are a chocolate lover, 16 December is your day, as it is National Chocolate-covered Anything Day!

If you could cover any food in chocolate, what would it be? There are so many foods that can be improved by covering them with chocolate, and here are some suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dessert and in-between snacks:

Chocolate-covered raisins, chocolate-covered waffles, chocolate-covered pretzels, chocolate-covered crepes, chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate-covered almonds, chocolate-covered bacon, and chocolate-covered potato chips – just to name a few!

Today is the day where you are allowed to cover anything – yes, anything! – with chocolate, without being judged.

To celebrate, pick up some chocolate-covered anything from your local store, or try your hand at coating one of your favourite treats with melted chocolate. Or, you can go out and find an affordable mini chocolate fountain, buy whatever you would like to cover with chocolate and take it home. Set up the mini chocolate fountain and enjoy your chocolate-covered treats in the comfort of your own home – with some of your friends and family. You could also celebrate by heating some chocolate syrup in a bowl to enjoy with some ice-cream.
