Breaking: Protest in Hole-in-One Avenue could turn violent

Motorists are advised to avoid Hole-in-One Avenue in Ruimsig, as well as surrounding areas such as Hendrik Potgieter Road, as protesters are currently turning to violence at the Jim and Jerry‘s Driving Range.

It is rumoured that the protesters are allegedly baying for the blood of the owner of the driving range, accusing him of having shot a child in the nearby informal settlement. This accusation could by no means be verified though.

Police and security company members are on the scene where the protesters are keeping the employees of the driving range from leaving the premises.
