Have you seen Camilla?
Camilla has been missing from Wilro Park since 7 December
A 17-year-old girl from Wilro Park has been missing since about 1pm on 7 December.
According to a Facebook post from her stepmother, Jeanette Howe, Camilla Chatten was last seen at their home in Kiepersol Avenue.
Camilla is tall and slim, with blonde hair, a fair complexion and blue/green eyes. She has piercings in her ears and nose. Her father, Shane Chatten is very concerned, as she has been missing for more than 72 hours. “This has happened once or twice before.
She would go missing but we’ve always managed to establish contact or find her very quickly,” he said.
According to Shane, they do not have any communication with Camilla, as her phone has been turned off. “The last time her phone was active, was at 1pm on 7 December. We don’t know if she switched it off, or if someone else did – taking the SIM card out,” her father said.
The family has opened a missing person’s case at the Roodepoort police, under the case number 658/12/2016, and have spoken to everyone with whom she had contact – to no avail.
“We just want to know that she is safe. We are pleading with the community to please contact us immediately if they know anything about where Camilla is,” an emotional Shane said.
