A Grade 5 learner from Laerskool Generaal De La Rey competed in one of the West Rand’s top dancing competitions last weekend (26 November).
Juandrê Gonsalves participated in the Mario Gomes Hip Hop Academy Championships, which was hosted at Mount Usambara. More than 100 dancers participated in different age groups and styles of dancing, showing off all the effort and hard work they have put in during the year. Juandrê was competing in the 11 and Under Beginners age group. Juandrê danced his way into third position overall, proving his talent and dance skills. Juandrê did not stop there as he was also named Most Improved Dancer for the year in his group.
