Residents are notified of a power interruption scheduled to take place on Sunday, 27 November from 6am to 12noon.
The affected areas include Weltevreden Park, Ontdekkers Park, Honeydew, Wilgeheuwel, Amarosa, Helderkruin, Constantia Kloof, Discovery, Laser Park, Strubens Valley, Ruimsig, Roodekrans and Horison View.
According to City Power, the interruption is necessary to conduct essential maintenance work on the network. This forms part of their program to constantly better service delivery.
Residents in the affected areas are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, as the power supply may be restored at any time.
City Power apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions. Customers requiring clarity or more information regarding the planned power outages can contact the Call Centre on 0860 JOBURG (562 874).
