Fun Day for Nordic Rescue

Fun Day for a special cause

The West Rand’s Nordic Rescue will be hosting a Family Fun Day in the first week of December. The event will be held at the Hoër Tegniese Skool Nic Diederichs, in partnership with The 9th Day, Adora-Bull Terrier Rescue and Rehabilitation and Love A Bull-SA organisations.

The fun day will not only be in aid of rescued Nordic breeds and other rescued animals, but to also pamper and provide proper care from the funds raised. Nordic Rescue SA NPC is a non-profit rescue organisation that is currently taking care of 40 huskies. The animals were rescued from being euthanised or found abandoned and abused in various parts of South Africa. The organisation is pro life and by rescuing Huskies and Husky Hybrids, gives the animals a second chance in life in their care.

The animals are provided with the best veterinary care, which has a huge financial impact on the organisation. They rely heavily on donations from the community and are pleading for more assistance.

There will be food, beverages, entertainment, crafts and lots more available at the Fun Day. For more information, contact Kylie on 076 846 6438.
