Cameron is sleek on the greens

Golfer excels on the greens

Maragon Private Schools learner Cameron Swanepoel will be participating in the 2016 Joburg Golf Open. The event will be hosted by the South African Golf Association at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club. 

He was also invited to participate in The Silver Vase Royal Johannesburg Junior Tournament at Royal Johannesburg in December. Cameron, who is currently plying his trade at the Scratch League for Ruimsig Country Club, has had a superb season. He participated in the Dimension Data Junior Open at Fancourt where he competed against players from across the country. He was also invited to take part in the CCGU Junior Champs held at Eagle Canyon. He excelled in the Easter tournament and managed a second place finish with a scoring average of 74. Cameron, who is a member of the BDGA Golfing Academy is currently ranked 30th on the Central Gauteng Golf Union’s rankings, 19 places better than last year.
