The Johannesburg Metro Police (JMPD) have responded to the accusations by Chrystal Williams that the JMPD have yet to make good on their promise of financial support for her and her children.

In 2014 Williams’ common-law husband Marvin Hollander was slain under suspicious circumstances in the line of duty.
Williams claimed that she has not seen a cent of the financial support the Director of the JMPD has allegedly promised for her three children. According to her, she does not have the money to put her child in a crèche and she is worried about the children’s financial and health security.
According to the JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar, Hollander’s money is tied up in an estate of which his mother is the executor. Minnaar said the court is in the process of establishing the children’s current and future needs.
