Man’s body recovered from train tracks

Roodepoort Forensic Pathology Services have recovered the body of a man who allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train earlier this afternoon.

A train arriving at the Witpoortjie railway station just after a man’s body was recovered from the same spot.

All that seemed to remain after the unfortunate incident at the Witpoortjie railway station was a splash of blood on the train tracks.

Krugersdorp Police were on the scene taking notes of the incident.

Blood from the man who allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train, stained the train tracks.

Police will release an official statement concerning this incident shortly.
