Cycad Estates in Roodepoort visited Florida Primary School, Esperanza Primary School, Die Ruiter Primary School, Dr Havinga Primary School, Allen Glen High School and Edu Fun 4 Kids in Ruimsig on the last day of the third term to present the teachers with a small token of appreciation for the hard work they put into educating our children.

The gesture was inspired by World Teachers Day, which is on 5 October. The day was declared by the United Nations’ Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) and represents a significant effort to raise awareness, understanding and appreciation for the important contribution made by teachers to education and development across the globe.
