Stance for charity

Car show for charity

Car enthusiasts are in for a treat this Saturday as two local car crews will be hosting Stance for Charity. Domestic Disturbance and Urban Stance Cult will be raising funds for Jaden Jackson and Aaron Halters. Jaden suffers from cerebral palsy and Aaron suffers from a rare medical disorder called branchio-oto-renal (BOR) syndrome.

The funds raised will not only help to relieve their families’ financial difficulties, but will help pay for any surgery needed in the near future. The event is aimed at attracting a diverse number of people of all ages, not just car enthusiasts.

Throughout the day a number of activities will be available for children, and food and cold drinks will be sold from various stalls. There will be live performances and DJs entertaining those in attendance.

Car enthusiasts can look forward to events such as the Show and Shine, the Low Limbo and the Rev-off.

The event will run from 8am to 5.30pm at Cecil Payne Stadium in Maraisburg. Tickets are R20 and R50 for the Show and Shine and Low Limbo.
