The staff and pupils at Treehouse Kindergarten celebrated Heritage Day in style. They did this by dressing up in traditional clothing and bringing a dish particular to that culture. There were awed smiles as the pupils each explained their clothes and food to the rest of the school.
Kindergarten principal Sharn Mitchell was happy about the enthusiasm of her pupils, who did not disappoint her.
“We are a multi-cultural kindergarten and this is a great opportunity for the pupils to learn more about each other’s heritage and have fun while doing so,” she said.
