Black Sunday in Fleurhof

The three remaining men were found with bruises and lacerations all over their bodies.

An incident in Fleurhof on Sunday 2 October has left two men dead and three others injured.

The fire services were already on scene battling the blaze at a block of flats when ER24 paramedics arrived. On assessment, paramedics found two bodies lying a short distance from the flats. One had sustained a stab wound to the back, while the other had sustained serious burn wounds. Neither man showed any signs of life and unfortunately the paramedics could not do anything for them. They were duly declared dead on the scene.

The three remaining men were found with bruises and lacerations all over their bodies. They were treated on the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further urgent treatment.

Local authorities told ER24 paramedics it appears that four men apparently stabbed a fifth man. The local community captured the four assailants, assaulted them and then locked them in a flat which was set alight. Local fire services arrived on the scene and managed to pull these men from the burning building.

Local authorities were on scene and are investigating this matter.
