Two arrested after shenanigans at licensing station
One suspect pretended to be a Metro cop.
Two suspects got arrested at the Florida Testing Station this past Friday for robbing a woman of R450.
The suspects pretended to be officials as one was wearing a Metro Police jacket and the other was wearing one from the Johannesburg Roads Agency. There will be an investigation to establish how they came into possession of the jackets.
The suspects will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon to face charges of robbery and for impersonating the police, said Metro Police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar.
