TAKE NOTE: Road closures
WELTEVREDEN PARK - The 1.4m in diameter pipes for the F46 pipeline project
Residents of especially Ward 89 and Ward 126 should take note that certain roads will be closed over the weekend due to the F46 Rand Water Pipeline Project.
Access to Lobelia Street from either JG Strydom Road as well as from Kastaiing Street’s side will be closed from Friday (23 September) at 9am to Monday (26 September). The reason is that trenching and laying of a pipeline will take place. It is advised that Tamarisk or Harebell streets should be used as entry or exit points.
The F46 pipeline project will run from the Waterval reservoir to the Weltevreden reservoir and is well underway. The project is expected to last for about 18 months.
People using JG Strydom Road in Weltevreden Park should still be aware of road works in the area, be careful of flaggers in the area and keep to a slower speed.
