Horizon View pupils making money

Pupils have fun on special day

Horizon View Primary School hosted its annual Grade 7 Entrepreneurs Day on 16 September.

The whole school was invited to support the Grade 7s, who went all out to impress their prospective customers. On offer was a variety of stalls which included nail parlours, braai meat and wors roll stands, doughnuts and games stalls.

Judges from different businesses and the school’s teachers could be seen walking around the stalls, giving advice to pupils on how to attract customers and how to make a profit.

The Grade 7 pupils, together with the school, which held a Casual Day, will give 10 per cent of the profit they made to a charity of their choice next term.
