City Power spokesperson, Yumna Sheik, said they are aware of the power outage in Weltevreden Park and surrounding areas.
“The exact cause of the outage is not known yet, but our technicians are on site working on restorations. We will keep you updated,” Sheik said.
Residents have been left in the dark since late yesterday afternoon, 15 September, due to a power outage.
According to a Twitter post from City Power, the outage was due to a tripped distributor on Christiaan de Wet Road.
