The EduFun4Kids school in Ruimsig had its second annual sports day and spring carnival, where the little ones were thrilled to run, jump, hop and crawl through obstacles, chase one another and throw water at their parents.
On 27 August all pupils had the opportunity to execute their favourite sporting activity, followed by a phenomenal carnival day, which included the ever-popular candy floss, boerewors rolls and sweets. Moms and grannies enjoyed the tea garden and fathers braved the mechanical bull.
Some pupils rode on the train, twirled on the carousel and enjoyed the boat rides, while others played all the carnival games. Vice principal of the school, Mercia Cruickshank said that many of the little ones were so exhausted after this fun day that they fell asleep on their mothers’ laps.
“We want to thank all our families for this awesome day as well as all the people who travelled from as far as Edenvale to bring their little ones to support our carnival day. We look forward to 2017,” concluded Cruickshank.
