National Make Your Bed Day

Improve your health by making your bed on #NationalMakeYourBedDay

In need of a better night’s sleep?

According to the National Sleep Foundation, you can achieve this by making your bed – a habit encouraged by National Make Your Bed Day, which is observed on 11 September.

Tossing, turning and restless sleeping can be improved by making your bed, which, in turn, can be good for your health.

It is said that a comfortable and clean sleep environment is a sleep aid, and, a Behavioral Sleep Medicine Programme teaches attendees that this important component of a good night’s sleep is largely ignored.

To celebrate, make your bed.

If it is not already a habit, let today be the start of a new habit for you that will not only make you feel and look good, but will also benefit your health!

Teach your young children to make their beds every day, instilling this good habit early.
