Marisa Abeln, Danielle van der Merwe, Divan Godfrey, Melanie Nel, Jeanne Fourie, Stéfan Nel, Schalk Burger and Roan Gonsalves will be the prefects at Hoërskool Florida in 2017.
Starting next year, they will be tasked with representing their school in a positive manner and being an example to their fellow pupils.
Since the current Grade 12 pupils are studying hard for their exams, the new leaders will be taking over their duties, and relieving the burden they’ve been carrying.
Divan Godfrey was named as head boy, while and Melanie Nel was chosen to be head girl.
