Helderkruin Murder: Neighbour refuses to release CCTV footage

Neighbour fears for his safety.

Although the CCTV footage of the two suspects who are believed to have murdered Lynette Beukes was somehow leaked to the public, it has now been deleted.

This come after the owner has ‘prohibited’ it from being distributed out of fear for his and his family’s safety. The owner also declined the Record’s request for the footage. Allegedly his own house can be identified on the footage. He has supplied it to the police though.

Meanwhile the police has no comment as far as the investigation goes.

Beukes’ funeral will take place this coming Monday at 11am at the Westdene Hervormde Kerk.

She was found murdered at her home on Banket Street at about 4.30pm this past Tuesday (6 September).
