A Witpoortjie resident has fallen prey to a criminal believed to have used a car remote jammer at the Witpoortjie Spar in Generaal Pienaar Avenue on 1 September.
The criminal managed to commit his crime in just over a minute.
Watch the man approaching the camera. He is wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and jeans. When he gets to the entrance of the Spar, he turns around and looks at a Mercedes Vito van. (In your top right hand corner). He then takes something out of his pocket, apparently a remote control, and walks to the van. He casually opens the door, gets in and takes a handbag and the victim’s house keys.
