Johannesburg Roads Agency hard at work

Potholes were fixed and road markings repainted

On the afternoon of 31 August, motorists using the roads in Witpoortjie were treated to a very pleasant and welcome sight.

The Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) was hard at work ensuring the roads were safe for road users, by doing maintenance work in two parts of Witpoortjie.

At the intersection of Generaal Pienaar Avenue and Ham Street, one team was busily filling and fixing the potholes across from the Engen service station, while another team was busy at the crossing of Albertina Sisulu Road and Corlett Drive.

The second team was from a company called Electasure, which is working with the JRA. They were cleaning the road after the road markings were repainted and the old ones removed.

The road markings are now brand new and very clear and motorists can once again enjoy travelling on this road.
