Intersection an accident scene – again

The troublesome Albertina Sisulu Road and Corlette Avenue intersection was the scene of yet another accident this morning (31 August).

It is unclear what had caused the accident, but it is alleged that a VW Polo Playa was crossing the intersection from the direction of Krugersdorp towards Princess while the VW Polo Vivo was travelling on Corlett Avenue towards Ontdekkers Road.

The two vehicles collided in the intersection, bringing traffic to standstill as vehicles had to drive around the accident scene. Only one occupant of the Playa was injured and was transported to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
