Golf buddies host a lunch for the senior citizens
It was a day of fun and laughter when the senior citizens of Davidsonville were treated to lunch at the Lex McMillan Hall. The day was hosted by golf buddies Eddie Billings, Lance Herman, Merlin Johnson, Mark Williams and Keenan Tate.
Eddie said the five golf buddies each contributed financially to the event to ensure its success.
“We wanted to show gratitude to the community’s senior citizens and spoil them for the day. Old people are neglected not only by the community but by their children and the government. So this event is our way of giving back and showing appreciation,” said Eddie.
He added that the lunch will become an annual event to which more senior citizens will be invited and taken care of for the day.
