Three injured as taxi rolls

Three people were injured when the taxi they were travelling in rolled on Beyers Naude Drive in Fairlands during the afternoon of 11 August.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the taxi lying on its side on the middle island. They discovered that two women and a man had sustained minor injuries.

The paramedics treated the patients and transported them to the Helen Joseph Hospital for further treatment.

It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into a lamp-post and overturn.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
